I spoke with Van Hollen’s office. They said he hasn’t made a formal statement regarding how he intends to vote, he has voiced concerns, and we should monitor his socials for a position statement should he make one.
So with Fetterman a clear Yes on the CR and Rand Paul a clear No, that means Repubs need 7 more Dems to vote Yes to clear the filibuster, right? I think Angus King & Mark Kelly are soft Yeses at this point.
Tina Smith’s office told me “no position but leaning no” today, which was a slight movement from a flat “no position” yesterday. Klobuchar unreachable as always.
New Mexico's Heinrich is telling us he's a no vote on the CR. Ben Ray Luhan's office answers every question with "I don't know" or "he's working on behalf df all his constituents." Maybe he's been taken hostage or something.
Senator Klobuchar went straight to voicemail.
Senator Smith's office said "they aren't in a position to provide the Senator's stance". what a bizarre response.
I could not get through to either Schumer’s office, nor Gillibrand’s. But I did write to each of them via their web portals and mention their apparent lack of commitment to vote no from your Tally.

Anyway, it's great practice! I feel like we're making a difference. (FWIW, Warren was always likely a no).
The Senate is always a weird animal. Still stuck on "civility" at least on the Dem side.
When it really matters, Fetterman's on the side of the Goddamned Oligarchy Party.
Millions more men, women -and children -will become homeless and many will die.
There is no excuse for silence, now.
None.
It's do or die.
Democracy isn't - and never has been - a spectator sport.
