Moving Sen Schiff to the No on cloture category based on new message on his substack of all places. "I'm a hard NO on the Republican spending bill. On cloture. On all of it." https://talkingpointsmemo.com/senate-cloture-vote-tally

Now that Schumer has announced, he wouldn’t if he didn’t have the votes to go his way, the others can announce to make themselves look good. It’s a game to them.
they need 60 for the cloture vote to pass. Republicans have 52 (Rand Paul is supposedly a no). So they 7 or 8 yeses (depending on whether or not Rand caves). we have 47 democrats, so that means we need at least 41 no votes to be safe
I don't believe this is in his heart. I think they got enough senators willing to choose the short straw and vote yes on cloture and Schiff gets to pretend he's a fighter.
If your earlier report is correct, this is just Schumer having hit his target of 8-10 Democrats and releasing everyone else to vote no. What a disaster.

these are our representatives and we have a right to know how they will be voting, no?
I am beyond disgusted with gillibrand and look forward to voting for her primary challenger

Earlier today Booker said he'd vote no on the CR but didn't mention cloture. Still trying to tie him down on that

After all, he's from the bluest state in the union, won his last race by a bizillion votes, and doesn't have another election for 6 years.
