I regretfully learned that Mr. Demko is at a career crossroad. And that stinks on so many levels. Not blaming him for the loss at all. Just there are holes that weren't there before his injury, and rebounds that weren't given up before the injury.

His save percentage going into tonight was an ugly .873. Tonight actually made it worse. It's been 12 games now, and he has numbers that would get a back-up banished to the AHL. It hasn't been entirely his fault, but the Canucks desperately need him to be better.

Unfortunately Demko is only marginally better than Silovs has been this year and his salary is killing the Canucks. Not sure if he can be traded (no movement clause) or if anyone would want him right now. Big gamble. Canucks would likely have to sweeten a deal // salary retention, picks etc

I don't think moving Demko is an option. Everyone knows he's coming back from a bizarre injury, and he doesn't look anywhere near recovered. Even with his history, goalies don't get much on the trade market. I don't think he's going anywhere.

No. They are out of sorts. The coaching staff is not getting them back in sorts. The entire team, players, coaches, management seems lost. They have lost their mojo.

A few guys tried to get at Perry for his shit but even that was poorly executed. They need to get their mojo back.

They're done. Petey put up another night of zeroes. Management must focus on future seasons and be sellers from now to the trade deadline. Asset management is imperative. IMHO, the only untouchables currently in the organization are Hughes, Lankinen, D-Petey, Lekkerimaki, and Willander.
