In COVID times, most pubs took down paywalls for COVIDdy pieces.
I would argue that the current state of things is as much/more of an existential threat and danger to people, institutions, countries and the planet as COVID.

Joe Kahn, the Executive Editor specifically. There's absolutely no question that the coverage in terms of what made front pages was more frequent to attack Biden and then Harris and less apt to accurately describe the mendacious idiocy of Trump's campaign. The New Yorker, NPR, both did stories on it
