You're absolutely correct, and I'd like to see our big unions' leadership repent and make amends for 2024 missteps by striking at the same time. Not because their contracts are being revised and voted on soon too but out of solidarity and as a classed resistance to the horrors being unleashed.

Dad was and remains a proud Teamster after thirty-two years of dedicated service to the union and its constituents. He's an old school labor guy—the scary kind. I'm glad to see organized labor behaving strongly and defiantly after so much disappointing weakness and capitulation.

Murphy chose to support widening the turnpike and fought congestion pricing, which would provide funds for public transportation. Ironically he was so wrong that it would increase traffic around the bridge and tunnel. It did the opposite.
