A revolution at the PSP’s launch, Ridge Racer was a driving experience previously unfathomable on a portable system. While the game brought over plenty of familiar music and courses from previous entries, the new nitrous mechanics propelled the series forward.
Despite the fact that some of the courses from Ridge Racer Revolution, Rage Racer, and R4: Ridge Racer Type 4 were missing, Ridge Racer (PSP) is one of my all-time favorite arcade racing games that feels like a celebration of the franchise made with nothing but tender love and care.
