Well, the first place the party should go from here is firing all of the Democratic strategists they have consulted until now. Also booting current leadership and rebuilding as a party for The People, not billionaires.

Fuck the democrats! Let's do it on our own with a General Strike. The entire country chipped in for the WW2 war effort - we are now in the war of our lifetimes and we cannot rely on anyone but ourselves to fix it. 11 million of us CAN come together for as long as it takes! https://generalstrikeus.com
100% agree with you!!
There’s only a few Dems willing to get up and help. The rest need to go!
Their silence is complicity.
The strategists, they are too complacent as well.
They are stagnant.
We the People are here to help but none of them seem to want our opinions and advice
Thus the disconnect.
How about 5 non-negotiables? Housing, universal healthcare, civilian job corps, free speech and climate justice? I know, another podcast. 🙄 But laid out pretty well here: https://www.unftr.com
The only rational for the vote that has any theoretical backing is “Republicans would have shut down the government and used it as a smokescreen to end Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare and then blame the Democrats for it”.
I think they’re admitting that they’re terrified of having to rhetorically combat that claim and see a battle of attrition as more advantageous. I think progressives would certainly be on their side if they had voted no, but the huge number of Low Info Voters would certainly not be.
Yes, nothing more useless than a Democratic strategist. Didn’t Carville say a couple weeks ago that the Trump regime would implode by Easter? They’re so out of touch.
I don't know especially this particular guy who seems to be pushing accelerationism as a "centrist" when accelerationism is distinctly a pseudoscience ideology of the extremes.
Heather Cox Richardson's letter from a few days ago was about the creation of the Republican Party in the 1850s. Feeling like that is the route to go. Time to start over with a new party.
I'm so sick of James Carville's southern shuck and jive. Some of us are not married to Republicans. Losing this fight doesn't mean sleeping on the couch, it means people we love getting kidnapped or murdered.
We need to abandon the Democratic Party and establish another party, a true organization not some outlandish bs meant to split votes. The DNC has been disappointing us for a long time and played a large part in why we’re here today. I’m looking at Bernie, AOC, Pete, Jasmine etc
Just saw yr video "Don't trust anyone advocating for violent resistance". Xlnt! Great info, well-explained (for those leaning twd violence to think twice), great resources, positive/hopeful energy tempered w/realism.

In my opinion we should ALL refuse to send another penny to democrats until the oust Schumer.
Btw, thanks for your reporting on Sunday town hall. It's infuriating that they can't or won't answer the tough questions. When it comes down to it a politician is going to deflect and evade.
No more of my $$ to anyone except AOC, Casten, Crockett and a couple of others. I think they would also be willing to see the house cleaned up of all the liars, hypocrites, and professional politicians that sway how the wind blows. We need a complete restructure with the passion of Bernie!!

I don’t think that’s a wrong statement, but/1
why don't you write a manifesto and encourage dems to join?
Capitalism and the cis-het white supremacist patriarchy it supports and fuels are the sickness. Socialist liberatory feminism is the only cure.
