Your take strikes me as one that emerges from assumption and incredulity. Did you go to good schools growing up? I didn't. Do you think that my opinion might be different from someone who had a quality education in their formative years and not solely because of a superficial correlation?
No you failed to consider that some teachers are different than the ones you had and that therefore all teachers are cops. You go in the shame cube now.
Also a bit ironic that the real discussion was about assumptions and being reductive, and here you are also assuming my position and reducing it to 'this guy just hates teachers!'
Again, I was not and do not ascribe to that all teachers are cops, or bad, or whatever it is that you think. I was assessing the quality of the argument. Please re-read.
Good for you. Its a shame your teachers spent their time doing that instead of teaching you the difference between when someone makes a statement vs. when they are assessing the quality of a particular argument. I.E. I didn't say that I thought ATAB, but rather, was challenging the assumption.
Literally just someone who said “ACAB includes teachers,” which I would normally suspect was a shitpost but they have a whole theory about it apparently
