My SG--which has later strings than this one *and* the appropriate model of Bigsby installed--has the Bigsby plate attached with 4 screws (maybe 5 if there's one hidden under the spring assembly). But I'm sure that the strap nut will get the job done, esp. with the extra tension

that's the part that blows my mind! He'll drill into the horn for a goddamned strap, but half-asses the installation of the wrong Bigsby to keep from drilling
