it would be great for any of the Democratic members of congress or consultants who say the top priority is talking about bipartisan compromise to explain what compromising with this looks like

remind them Dems won’t vote on the budget in March unless major concessions are made re Musk tariffs USAID etc .. remind them since the govt majority is GOP they will be blamed for a shutdown
This is all part of their “unitary executive power theory” they are testing it out in real time to sell off our Government for parts in order to enrich themselves & take the power from the people, but making the people PAY!
I would generally agree, but also think that democrats need to get out of their own way and use the power that they have when they have it. They had majorities in the house and senate in 2021. They could have passed a law, or at least tried, to give them this authority.
Dems greatest strength is also their greatest weakness but I won't condone lawlessness because we as a society cannot survive without the rule of law
We just have to figure out how to fight without being lawless
To the best of my knowledge no Dems are talking about working with the MAGA idiots. SOME OF US, LIKE SENATOR ANDY KIM of NJ, ARE TALKING ABOUT LETTING THE GOVERNMENT SHUT DOWN IN MARCH WHEN THE BUDGET BS STARTS AGAIN
