The GOP has captured the government. It can now make policy, and that includes dismantling some of our institutions, if that’s what the GOP under Trump wants to do.

I don’t think anyone knows what will come from destroying these institutions. Or from occupying Gaza. Especially occupying Gaza while also angering mid-Eastern countries … while also neutering our foreign intelligence apparatus (a lot of our “foreign aid” is also how we keep tabs on bad actors). 4/

There’s a way to do things legally. And, the GOP has the votes in Congress to do it.

Refusing to abide by court orders is not the way.

What’s happening right now will lead to a constitutional crisis — it already has — and could spark a military coup.

Lord help us.
