Yes it is free. When I’m in St A pretty much everyone gets asked but a smaller shop. In Edinburgh you might need to ask but they’d be happy to do. Cute blue teapots. Even features in a book called Like A Charm by Elle McNicoll

Yes indeed! We got to the St Andrews branch more often - smaller and different staff to visitor ratio - but it's policy at all branches. Plus they tend to offer if you sit down, and there's more seats and sofas in St As.

You get a lil pot of tea, natural lump sugar in a lil bowl and a biscoff type biscuits. All on a wee tray.
Won't surprise you to hear that my kids love it.
