California's Utility Companies and the US Forest Service have failed to keep vegetation at controlled levels. There USED to be fire breaks cut on the San Gabriels and other ranges. The Environmentalist/Tree Huggers stopped it, for it was ugly. I guess charred forests and homes are beautiful?
