no you won't go 'what if' because the TERROR is fundamentally grounded on anti-black racism is the US South. OK about the scare level: a few jump scares, a lot of blood (but not graphic injuries), and an overall nefarious vibe. In my mind, it wasn't too scary.
and it is SO good that in my view it is worth the scary parts. I would put it together with Parasite and Get Out in terms of the ratio between ABSOLUTE BANGER and a bit scary.
This is super helpful!! Parasite I can handle no prob (but also because I was already traumatised by Korean cinema) but I didn't see Get Out for similar concerns as now - will see if I can find someone to go with me so I'm not alone (I'm just a baby)
