I don’t understand this. In Australia our public service are expected to be bipartisan and the ministers in charge of portfolios are elected. Can a president really appoint anyone to key federal portfolios? It’s reminiscent of royals bestowing land, wealth and titles to their staunchest allies.

Honestly, the fight hasn't started yet. We just talk and bicker amongst ourselves, like children in a classroom stuck in Texas... meanwhile, there's 300+ cops outside waiting for the screams to stop, and holding back parents from doing their actual jobs as civil servants
