People who can play multiple games from the same series in a row without burning out are extremely impressive to me
Only time I have done it successfully was Mass Effect

The Pixel Remasters are awesome. No one should ever play the 3D games, imo.
Anything longer than like 10 hours, I won’t play the sequel right after.
I did AC Odyssey right after AC Origins and fuckkkkk. I haven’t beaten Odyssey TTD
Caused me to completely change my game selection
I actually do have a yearning to start RE2
That’s how I know I really REALLY loved it
I was perfectly fine with it, as the stories were always gripping and its focal city would change enough in each game to get you excitingly exploring.
It took a whole year
I was playing other stuff on the side but most of my time was just Yakuza 😭
Currently playing 7
Otherwise, I can not. And even then, I choose not to haha.
"Were you all excited for the Templars Vs. Mages? Well... tough, it happened off screen. Here's portal demons and a boss from a DLC you didn't play. Lol."
no problem if the game series is excellent
even replaying them in order ain't a problem
If I'm playing a big 100+ hours RPG on my Xbox/PS5, then I'd pick a cozy Sim game on my PS5/Xbox, and an indie game on the go on my Asus Rog Ally.
That's how my mind compartmentalizes 😎✨
Might have to break it apart with other games going forward lol
Please bow down.
ME3 was the first game I ever played that let me be gay and have a steamy romance option (I mean that sex scene at the end!) and for that it will always be the best game I’ve ever played. (I also do a play through at least twice a year).
get back here!!
They're really long, especially the Ichiban games, but I'm not stopping until they're done.
It's easy with adventure/puzzle games where it's mostly the story keeping you going.
It’s STILL happening
Dead space series
Metroid
Mafia
Resident evil.
Legend of Zelda
It’s honestly a nice time if you’re able to stick to it. No a days there’s so much at our disposal 😅
And that included board games, mobile games and flash games.
I absolutely hated myself for having that idea when the last two came around
I don't think I've played any of them for a significant amount of time since, and that was pre-rona.
Like in the case of Mass Effect, the story was clear it didn't end in 1 or 2 and you knew it had 3 installments. Resident Evil on the other hand technically there are threads connecting each installment, but it's not a singular story.
I'd love to back to back the Yakuza games but.. there's 50 of em so not happening.
We'll see how it goes.
🏃🏃
Unhinged
Hard to believe
But, yeah. I get it. I don't know lol. Just pisses me off and I don't want to spend 80 dollars on that shit.
Thanks for hitting my brain with that. I'll play it eventually.
I think they even knew they couldn’t do it narratively
