I was heartbroken that he lost. Reagan ushered in everything we are facing today. The GOP have always been bullies. In my lifetime anyway. I was so angry over the way Reagan stripped the solar panels off the White House. Carter meets God with an honest heart.

My wife and I were in a youth hostel in Luxembourg when Carter lost in 1980. People from all over the world asked us what the U.S. saw in Reagan, over Carter.

We couldn't give them an answer.
