Leather Lovers Thread! Drop a pic & story when you first knew you loved leather below 🖤 for me, it really started with my first pair of Doc Martens boots. I wore them every single day, and I loved how it felt to feel leather boots mold to my feet. How strong I felt. Learning how to care for them.

In my late teens I was always with my leather jackets and boots, then in my 20s learning to craft my own belts and harnesses. Caring for my leather has always been a meditative act of love for me 🖤
I think my first encounter with the fabric itself was at secondary school and loved everything about the texture, scent etc..
I actually think I thrifted my first real leather jacket before buying my first Docs & to this day I wear both!
