I tried fat free fage + honey this morning because of this post, and it's really good, thank you!! I've been trying to figure out ways to cut back my protein bar habit. this is a very easy alternative. sorry to reply to an old post

It’s still crazy to me how different the fda guidelines for protein are vs what the average weightlifter says. There isn’t nearly as big a difference w any other nutrition thing. I aim for somewhere in the middle

One of the youtube dorks of body building was showing the studies of grams of protein per whatever body weight and it didn't seem to have an upper limit. I'm not interested enough to eat that much though

The general notion was 1 gram per pound of bodyweight to gain muscle but I think most exercise and dietary scientists have come to the consensus that's probably too much but yeah its definitely a magnum type thing.
