Literally only place I can find anything spicy of Anna Paquin but that’s as far as I’ll go. and the vampire dudes are so insanely unhot it ruins it especially when it seems like that’s all it’s about 😭
My wife and I re-watched it last year. I think it mostly holds up - but the stuff that was bad the first time around (Bill's entire character arc, most of the last season, the werepanthers...) are all still pretty bad. Still entertaining though.
i remember watching it shortly after it came out and the amount of sexual content initially turned me off because I wasn't expecting it...but maybe it's worth a revisit...
It was one of the big rewatches my ex and I did during the beginning of the pandemic. It's still good. Very campy and enjoyable. Rewatching after "Banshee" is a mf because some of the things that didn't work in TB worked well in Banshee.
i've been wondering the same thing lately & whether i should rewatch it. i remember enjoying it a lot, the early seasons anyway, i think it started kinda losing the plot after a while. and yeah that theme song is great.
It's weird, because whne they remastered Star Trek (original series) in such a way with updated vis f/x, it was a spot-on job: hardly notice it...
MAde it a bit MORE, somehow.

I didn't watch a full season, and nothing beyond the first, so that's about all I remember hearing.
I mainly watched for Eric and LaFayette. Oh and Jason 👌🏼
Especially the Tara story arc. That was a mess when it was first aired, so it would probably still be considered a mess today.
It’s worth it for Nelsan Ellis alone, honeychild.
But the series is way better than the books.
Jace Everett and that whole album fucking slaps!
Plus that opening them 👌
My mom loved this show so much back then and would be the only reason she'd pay for the HBO bundle
MAde it a bit MORE, somehow.
