A very good friend of mine has offered to do a podcast episode with me where we talk about my work and creativity and art and I trust him to edit out my nervousness or anything stupid I might say. Kinda like ‘public talking training’. Is anyone even interested in hearing something like that?

A good tip I would give (if this wasn't obvious already) is to just see it as having a conversation with a friend rather than getting an interview.
For me, it takes me a while to get on my feet, but when I do I can really get rolling.
Being an introvert myself, I found that doing job interviews and online dating worked well
I know a lot of people would always love to know more though!
That said, I totally get the nervousness. Feels like you aren't allowed to be a reserved private person as an artist these days.
Besides your incredible art, I think the stuff you do helping wolves is amazing and I'm sure a lot of people will find what you have to say interesting.
I might be an extrovert, but I am still always a little stressed out because of being ESL, and the cultural and language barrier. But it gets better every time. 🧡
There's nothing wrong with declining interviews and podcasts because you didn't feel good or right about doing so. If someone doesn't like you because of that, then they can go figure out what to do with themselves elsewhere.
