It’s also built on an airframe that is end of life.

The current 747–200 design is perfect perfectly extensible.

A new platform is useful, but not necessary. And the new paint scheme sends the message that this country is no longer a peaceful visitor.

At least with buildings, the intelligence community would rather bulldoze one and rebuild from scratch rather than count on remediation to work
