I’m still preparing to meet with an immigration attorney just in case things get as bad as I anticipate in this country. If I’m able to stay, it will be in large part to this site so that I can be reminded there are still wonderful people in this world and many of them are right here. Thank you all!
I'm slowly getting used to the new feel but it's definitely a lot better to just open bluesky and not see conspiracy theories or Russian propaganda being pushed by the right.
We hope against hope for interactions and discourse that illuminate and stimulate the better angels of our nature. In a world monetized to stimulate what is worst in humankind.
I used to have two twitter accounts for MMA and Alien stuff. Had to just can both since I was constantly getting Nazi shit and videos of people being attacked with race baiting titles in them. This is a much nicer community.
I agree, but I have a very hard time getting on it. I only reach it using Google and they keep wanting to use my outdated email. It’s my first day, so I hope it appears.
