He hoarded that funding until it was time to make a political splash by bribing us with $200 a piece. It would take decades and billions to install that tunnel, but maybe 5 years to put trucks on the 407, and develop intercity transit systems.

But if you look at the breakdown of the vote, more people did NOT vote for conservatives than those who did. Between Liberal and NDP they have substantially more of the votes. We need electoral reform for that exact reason.

Can't do that easily when the rural communities have this much weight and the only ones canvassing out here are Conservatives. Imo it's a marketing issue too. It's mostly elderly and low education in rural areas, so they buy easily into Con slogans 1/2

The only way to stop that is via education, which has to happen through outreach. Whether that's brochures outlining platform policies in the mail or boots on the ground going door to door etc. Currently, we have neither, so you get Cons winning the rural vote.
