As someone pointed out yesterday, the last time Oasis played Wembley Stadium in 2009, you could still buy tickets on the day of the gig for £44. Oh and the second night Liam was off his face and they were crap.

I saw Bruce at Springsteen seven or eight years ago, paid £50 or something. There was controversy around the pricing, golden circles etc on this recent tour, which led to Backstreets shutting down, Bruce and management unrepentant. It’s where the market is now.

Last time Oasis played Wembley I went for free because my mate's company shared an office with Ticketmaster and they left a stack of unsold tickets on the reception desk and told people to help themselves. Couldn't give them away.
