Can the human body survive the increasingly polluted planet we're living on? Maybe spend the Mars/Moon money on cleaning it up before we worry about space travel? #environment
The human body can't even survive a voyage to Mount Everest without considerable preparation and no one completes that without risking their life several times. Mars is like climbing 1,000 Mount Everests. As a task it is beyond the pale as far as challenges go. Gravity? Radiation? Forget it.
