Looking to change wifi providers. Currently with sky. Any recommendations (remember i’m in Northern Ireland therefore any smaller companies won’t provide here).

I won’t touch Virgin with yours, given they almost sent the bailiffs round after someone had used my identity to clean them out. Absolutely hopeless “customer” service.
Agree - I’ve got the leave and barter dance to do again now.
Did join BT and got fibre installed but then realised I was locked into their hub, which bolloxed my network setup. Had to invoke the 14 day cool off but their UK-based CS was amazing.
I echo this. Our road got full fibre and they wouldn’t connect us to normal broadband despite a 6 week wait. No solutions given, bloody horrible. Once set up though, everything is fine and we’re getting the speeds we should be (900 mb/ps).
That’s where I ended up after several poor experiences with other providers. I figured everyone has to use BT’s infrastructure anyway and they‘ve not let me down yet in 10 years.
BT merged with EE mainly for the mobile network. Most of us still use BT (Openreach) for our physical connection to the internet. It’s only in the exchange that your line might get put on different equipment. 🤷🏻♂️
We switched from virgin after years, we had the full package which kept going up and up. They wanted £70 a month just for broadband after we got rid of the TV package. Now with EE more reliable and very quick.

However, Zen is very much mentioned in despatches in the geek community as a solid option.
Don’t go for Community Fibre if they’re available. They almost brought down the council this week!

If not, don't touch with a barge pole
