What would you recommend for a fast paced & thought provoking fantasy?

I’ve read so many good ones, but I can narrow it down to two:
Surprise, Kill, Vanish by Annie Jacobsen
(eye opening, infuriating, but necessary)
All the Beauty in the World by Patrick Bringley (brought me back to humanity)
