I'd been using Blender for quite a bit, and had fun experimenting with blending 2D illustrations, characters & animations in a 3D world. So with this, I wanted to try making a full project with that principle in mind hehe. Despite the headaches, it came out a lot better than I'd imagined! :DD

This started when I wanted to animate a field of 🌻s haha. I started with a 🌻model & ground plane. then I made it into a field of 2000 or so 🌻s by making a hair particle system on the ground. then I animated the 🌻 model using noise modifs on the rotation axes + simple deform modif! they dance! :DDD

Sadly along the way, my machine died, and so did most of the data along with it. 🥲 So there were some scenes that didn't get used, and I had to rethink the "story" narrative haha.
(like, it initially involved a giant kidsnextdoor-esque xatu-shaped telescope...)
