I think it's worth noting that since then, there has been an absolute ballooning of open, celebratory misogyny in the form of the "manosphere." It was racism, too, and more effective RW messaging. But I think most women will agree it's worse than it was.

I’m in California. The only time I saw a pro-Trump campaign ad was in the Palm Springs Airport and it was in Spanish. And by pro-Trump, I mean anti-Harris. This likely mattered

There was a concerted effort in the 2024 Republican Presidential campaign to reach out to demographic groups they had previously ignored. The marginal improvements they gained made all the difference. Democrats can no longer be complacent about previously reliable voting blocs.

It's also because she's a woman. I have two educated brothers and I know they will never vote for a woman. They twisted themselves into pretzels to vote for Trump. Finally they told me they can't vote for Kamala because there's too much sugar in our diets. I reminded them we were raised on Koolaid.
