I am a ride share driver, and I tell this to my riders as well as look at the license plate to be sure you're getting into the correct car.

We live fairly close to SDSU. When there’s a concert or event there, sometimes our kids park at our house and we give them a ride there and pick them up after. Students frequently think we’re their Uber and try to hop in our car when we pick up our kids.

oh for fucks sake.
as an 8 year rideshare driver. our job is hard enough w/o people trying to demonize us. yes there are bad drivers ABSOLUTELY. however the chances that you have a bad driver are fucking low. the average rider could do 10 rides a week, i do 20-25 a day. just dont eat/drink in car.

Dude, this video isn't attacking you or other drivers. It is making riders aware of a potential problem, and reminding them not to accept consumables from strangers, even when it seems innocent, JUST TO BE SAFE.
