And it’s the job of nearly every Democratic house member over the age of 50 to just cower in the corner as their Republican colleagues “across the aisle” do nothing. They are not up for this fight.

And it's the judicial branch's job to say "Well, as an act of caution, we're going to pause what you're doing through an injunction of habeas corpus while both sides set a time in the far future to agree on terms so the legal blah blah blah can try to decide which party of the first part and ..."

This is what I've been thinking. I am caregiving for my 81-year-old parents, I'm on SSDI due to quirky health issues & with a master's degree & beyond & at the poverty level & I paid for all my education with nothing to show for it. Scared I will end up homeless, adult orphaned. Leader needed ASAP!
While I agree with the sentiment, this language doesn’t deter MAGAts in the least since they clearly believe rape is their “right”. I’d also bet this is triggering for more than 50% of the population currently trying to exist in constant defense mode.
