No (not a dumb question). I don't have one. I did use my mixer like ATK suggests. But the bread never came together to make a smooth ball like most other breads do in the mixer. It was just stickier, but after rising was great and easy to work with.

I've only made bread about eight times before losing interest. Once it was this and it was really good.

I'm a sporadic baker myself. I fell in love with an organic multigrain bread from Aldi when I realized it lasted an awful long time (preservatives). So I've been tinkering with different recipes for 5 months or so to find one I like. This one is almost it. Just a bit more tinkering.

That's the hardest part about being an occasional baker and a person who works very hard to finish every food before it goes bad. Unused food guilt is real, so I think really hard before buying something like 7-grain hot cereal. It feels like a gamble.
