We unequivocally oppose the use of violence & intimidation on campus. At the same time, when legitimate political protest has been recklessly mischaracterized as support for terrorism, deporting and arresting green card holders over alleged "support" of Hamas is too broad to be the basis of policy.
Authoritarian federal overreach and apparent disregard for due process only make Jews less safe. We refuse to have our concerns and fears over antisemitism weaponized to undermine pluralistic democracy.
The Jewish community's legitimate concerns about rising antisemitism deserve urgent attention, not exploitation as a smokescreen for power grabs that undermine the very framework designed to protect vulnerable populations.
“Yahya Sinwar was a scholar, writer, fighter, political leader, and commander. He was loved by many Arabs, not just Palestinians. His resilience and strength made him an incredible leader, able to instill hope into the hearts of many.” Indicted by the ICC @nexusproject.bsky.social
