In fairness, people don't really have a choice anymore in terms of newer vehicles. Cheap cars have LEDs now. Automatic High Beams is a terrible luxury feature, though, and anyone mounting EXTRA LEDs lights is kinda chaotic/evil, living la vida punchable.

That's not the issue. They are being marketed LEDs that are too bright, those should not be legal! These lamps are so bright and hot they need little cooling fans built into the lamps! You will not notice if sensibly powered LED lamps are used on low beam. They save power, which means they save gas.
