I’m also still kinda bitter it didn’t win best music, but I was ecstatic Xenoblade 3 even got a GOTY nomination. I knew it would never beat Elden Ring but the fact it was up there next to it felt validating after being a fan since the original game on the Wii.

Agreed! I was so happy it got a nomination for GOTY and I would have been fuming if it atleast didn’t get that. It was personally my GOTY but I definitely knew it had no hope against Elden Ring
Even hearing a small snippet played with the Orchestra had me in tears.

Metaphor was the only game in a very, very long time to cause physical anxiety for me leading up to some big moments. Not knowing how they were going to go, it was a sensation I'm not used to.

I’ve heard so many people loved the game and a little bit inside would love it to get nominated for atleast something as a dig at Ubisoft - “here’s the awards for the studio you shut down”
