- A country can decide to take in, or not take in refugees. So far, UK belongs to the forrmer

- if a country takes in refugees, it stands to reason that they should be able to lead a ‘normal’ life, if prospects for return are slim
- sitting in a hotel forever is not a ‘normal’ life. The refugees life would be on pause forever

Even if true, which it is obv not, the riots were partly fuelled by a grievance from communities seeing migrants put up in hotels. Although unjustifiable it gave the far right, and I include Farage, with ammunition to stoke community tensions. These people should be hanging their heads in shame.
