25 years ago, Americans bought into Bush’s propaganda that every other country was out to get USA. They accepted the fiction that the brutality & absence of justice was needed to protect citizens from terrorists.
We need to get that husband and father back to his family. Isn't there some kind of appeal we could sign together as a country to override the guy who believes he's king?
Not to be pedantic, but just transporting to another country isn't human trafficking. Transporting them for forced servitude, sex work, military service, etc. are examples of human trafficking. Typically there has to be a commodifiable objective. It's still wrong as hell. "Extrajudicial rendition."
Human trafficking also tends to imply private actors. My broader point is that there are more precise terms for what’s taking place. The forced labor isn’t the main objective. The political exclusion, vulnerability, and fear are the real purposes.
This is the US of A this will not stand and those who are making this happen are kidnappers. Stop this blatant example of horrible waist fraud and abuse, it must be stopped
And at the end of the day, the US is paying to rid the country of innocent people who not only cost them nothing, but actually contributed to the economy. our government continues to pay for housing them in squalid conditions.
