It’s not so much that we lost that breaks my heart. It’s that we lost to a twice-impeached, adjudicated rapist, conman who was responsible for the death of almost a million people and who has promised to derail the country again. My body. Fuck you.

If I had to respond to an email as a federal employee asking me what I did at work last week, I'd make sure to list all the duties I had to absorb because of mass illegal firings, followed by a description of what the EPA's Walter Peck did in Ghostbusters.

If members of Congress—like Rep. Grothman —are this clueless about what the man who is dismantling our government is saying and promising, they don’t deserve to keep their jobs! This woman is in his face, begging him to wake TF up—and he just walks off. Pathetic.

This is really the right-leaning New York Post’s cover this morning.

Wow. What a reply!

So they removed the black chairman of the Joint Chiefs in the middle of his 4-year tour, without cause, and they're seeking to replace him with a white **retired** Air Force three-star general who lacks the requisite experience as a service chief or combatant commander? Huh, how about that

Remember: politicians work for YOU. Don’t let them forget that.

There have never been kings in America. The monarchy doesn't start now.

In future generations, when your children and grandchildren look back on this moment, they are not going to ask about the price of eggs. They are going to ask you what you did. Not what you felt. Not what you paid. But what you did. And I want to be able to say I did everything I possibly could.

Carville: USAID spent $41 billion the federal budget is 6 trillion. Actually comes to something like .014%. So take that and put it against the 6 trillion and see what you have done when your president is responsible for more federal debt than any president in the history of the United States.

For every $1 the IRS spends auditing the top 1%, it can collect $13. For every $1 the IRS spends auditing the top 0.1%, it can collect $26. Laying off 7,000 IRS employees (during tax season) isn't about efficiency. It's about making it easier for the rich to evade taxes.

If you were REALLY looking for corruption, you wouldn't be firing independent inspector generals and using your DOJ to force a corruption case against a Democratic Mayor in NYC to be dismissed.

Put aside the nastiness of this post, & the way in he attacks Zelenskyy as a dictator but says not a word about his pal Putin, & just focus on the way it is written: would you hire this weird person to work for you? Would you trust this odd person to teach your kid in school?

Math is hard

Imagine being rich enough to do anything you want and choosing to take food and medicine from starving children to give yourself even more money.

'Aren‘t you the boss?' Maddow supercut shows Trump being 'palpably scared' to talk about Putin: The detail and scope of President Donald Trump's conversations with Russian President Vladimir Putin are still murky, and MSNBC host Rachel Maddow is drawing attention to how uncharacteristically cagey…

That would be over $700 billion.

Could someone place an order for 100 more Jasmine Crocketts for overnight delivery to the Democratic Party thx in advance

“Congress wants to cut government but not their own budgets. Elon Musk's 'Dept. of Government Efficiency' wants to slash spending—except on his own gov-funded ventures. If they’re serious about cuts, they should start with their own staff and perks. adamkinzinger.substack.com/p/elon-musks...

Jim Acosta: I think the AP should consider whether or not to sue the administration… and the rest of the press corps should start seriously considering whether it’s worth sending everyone into the Oval Office, onto Air Force One, or into the briefing room.

Blatant lie. Agencies inform one another of beneficiary deaths and immediately stop payments, and for those with no next of kin to inform, the IG constantly monitors for this. But you’d know that if you didn’t fire all the IGs.

DOGE is arguing in court that Trump is calling all the shots and Musk isn't the DOGE administrator. Trump here admits he's not calling the shots. So if he's not, and Musk isn't, then who is the DOGE administrator? @normeisen.bsky.social @gtconway.bsky.social
