I've had several 30- 20- 20 games in the NBA. I watch it for about 30 minutes. I listen to 20 minutes of analysis. And somewhere in there. I order 20 chicken McNuggets. Where is my glory, where's my praise?
Jokic not only has excellent footwork, but several times last night, while fighting for the rebound, he tipped it to himself to secure the ball. That's rare and nimble, too.
Unfortunately, he needs more consistent shooters among his teammates in order to win a championship (IMO).
Correct. People make a fuss about a "triple double," which only requires a minimum of 10/10/10. That is pretty rare. This is obviously much rarer -- first time in nearly 80 years of the NBA.
Also I wanna mention, the problem is the length of schedule. This is part and parcel of our favorite sport. There are far too many games for these guys to maintain peak health.
Your stupid meme aside, I think we are arguing the same side.
Iβll take 60 games and no guaranteed contracts no doubt if it means folks like podcast p Always Damaged and all these βquestionableβ statuses go away

But the NBA didn't start tracking steals & blocks until the 73-74 season & both Wilt & Russell had a few 20 block games back in the 60s.
Wilt had an unofficial 34-33-20 (pts, rbs, blks) for Philly vs Chicago on 3/14/1962

Score at the end of the 4th was 125-125

What did one unicorn say to the other?
LOOK!!!!!! It's Nikola Jokic!
Jokic had the 9th fastest triple double ever....
THEN
he had another triple double.
Most assists ever by a center.
A ridiculous game.

The #3 Nuggets went to OT and gave up 140pts to a team that won't be playing in the postseason?
