Mad Men is one of the smartest shows ever written. It has so much depth and brilliance to it. So relevant now even though it takes place in the past. Glad you're enjoying it. I could gush about that show for hours.

I just finished season 1. Yes, agreed that it's good. I'd been meaning to get to it for a long time. Does the show stay good for all 7 seasons, or does the quality drop off at some point in the run?

Actually, yes it does. It does a great job of staying sharp and relevant as it moves through the 60's, using important historical events as a backdrop in excellent ways. The characters age in interesting ways and the kids grow up too.
