Still under the weather 😴

Reposting one of my favourite tweets about my views on companionship here on Bsky because it’s always a great reminder for those who participate in this world 🀍

Niche cafes don't work in Seattle bc pop. density is too low, and culture is homogenous in a different way. In Tokyo, you can have highly successful cafes centered on classical vinyl, capybaras, the '60s, or my personal favorite...shutting TFU. I miss that. Cafes here are loud

When you have such a good time with your v1brat0r that you decide to make it some brunch, til you remember it's not sentient Guess I'll just go to a cafe and read a book instead πŸ™ƒπŸ˜

I just got a booking for a date that will take place 2 months from now. Talk about building anticipation! 😍 Planning a trip to WA this year? Remember, it's never too early to book πŸ˜‰πŸ’ž

I built my twitter following of 58k over 8 years of learning about algorithms, pivoting, content creation, engagement, heartfelt honesty and left it December 1st 2024. Story time 🧡

Postmodern lit was RIFE with #4

Watching Mad Men for the first time. It should be required viewing for all the teenage Andrew Taints and Little Bo Peep Tradwife wannabes Yes, I typically watch shows super late. My vice: soft cultural contrarianism. I'll get to Severance in 2032

Sore throat today

The skirt became cumbersome πŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ€

Japan wins re: -toilets -packaging -accessibility -public infrastructure But for the love of Buddha, why is it 2025 and I still am forced to log in to an account I've not used for 10 yrs in order to unsubscribe from sporadic email lists. Why do they hate web UX design? 😫🍡

I think in my first blog post, I will talk about Bertrand Russell's 1950 essay "On Being Modern-minded" as it relates to the current discourse on Twitter, and specifically SW twitter I may have to break up the paragraphs with suggestive photos 🀭

Life is messy. Make the best of it πŸ’‹

It continually blows my mind when men who never intend to book an escort spend all day, every day, writing the most crass, disgusting comments on our posts, seemingly thinking that it will be welcome. Look at all the men around you who comment respectfully. The problem. It's you

I'm thinking about clothes, can't wait to wear my warmer weather clothes when it gets nicer outside. What are your favorite clothes on a woman? I've had men tell me everything from a red dress to sweatpants. Many love pantyhose & heels. I love hearing each man's answer, though; it's fascinating. πŸ₯°

I'm glad, and slightly amused that, wired earphones are back in style. 🀭 I use them when I go for a jog. When I'm sitting indoors, though, I use my Sony noise-canceling headphones (XM3s). What do you use to listen to music and podcasts?

Living in Asia taught me that any food that supplies energy can be breakfast! This is my first grilled cheese since being back in the US. It's one thing I missed while I was gone πŸ₯² Thanks for the treat, T 😘

Pretty sure @colsonwhitehead.com wrote a book about this

People who consume more long-form content than social media content are hot πŸ”₯

I forgot to wrap up my review of Bertrand Russell's Unpopular Essays. Well, it's a guide on how to be a basic Liberal. Students should maybe read it. I found it mostly dull, but that's because of my life experience. My Paris Review arrived today, so I'll be diving into that πŸ’•

Today I just went for a long walk with a friend on the misty beach, and then had dinner together. Friends who we can be 100% ourselves around are priceless. Hope everyone had a good day ✨️

I just realized I haven't had a proper burger since being back stateside. Seriously?! πŸ˜‚ I don't mean like Dicks. I mean a steakhouse burger. Going to have to rectify that soon πŸ˜‹πŸ”πŸ·

Winding down the weekend, taking it slow.

Can't sleep. Thinking about the time when I was at a concert with someone, and during the singer's between-song-banter, they referenced Oliver Sacks and I turned to my partner and grinned, but they just looked bored as hell. Dead eyes, full nine yards. Haunting.
