I keep hoping that the loudness of the hate is from them feeling backed into a corner. That they're feeling desperate as they get left behind by society. Like how you sometimes have to expose a wound before you can clean it.

It's hard to believe sometimes but it gives me hope.

More so he greenlit the current movement. Hate has always existed here, but most felt too afraid of ostracism to go mask off.

Now? They’ve been emboldened. Knowing history, it’s going to get REAL ugly soon. Facism is no longer on our doorstep. It’s inside our house. And people WILLINGLY let it in.

I suppose "Trumpism" is just modern anti-democracy, anti-US Constitution, anti-US law conservatism, Republicanism. You can hate the creed, idea, values, ideology, but in terms of people, those responsible are the conservative, Republican voters on Main St. USA who wanted that.

It absolutely has destroyed us. But it's the culmination of a republican party that was destroying us from within for decades. They veiled their hate better and pretended to be coming from a place other than cruelty but his concepts aren't really anything new
