I think they just moved Biden & harris to different accts and renamed the old accounts. I reported DJT & Vance as fraud & spam & blocked them.

I just logged back in after logging out for the inauguration and one of the first posts to show up was from Vance and it showed me following his page. 🤬

They don’t remove followers from the POTUS/VP pages when they change hands. If you were following the page under the previous admin, you’re still following now.

I don't think that's it. I searched and First Lady Jill Biden page comes up as archived as well as the first First Lady Melania Trump page.

The archived pages are given new URLs and are no longer under the same account and url. The /Vicepresident and /POTUS accounts are always owned and run by whoever is currently in the position. When a new admin comes in the acct owner changes, but the url and followers remain

I cant speak to your personal account but this is how it was done in 2021 when the accounts went from Trump to Biden. Twitter was the lone exception and Biden argued followers should remain regardless of who holds the position https://www.cnn.com/2021/01/20/tech/biden-potus-twitter-account/index.html

I was suddenly following Trump today too. I haven’t been active on FB because of well, Trump and Zuck being such glaring pieces of human excrement, but I popped on and the first thing I saw was a post from POTUS Felon.

Block is the option to choose. I did, several accounts of him as well as donny junior . I have absolutely no plan to follow anything of his unless it is a short walk to a long prison term.

Same - and got a message when I blocked that said we can block this one but he has others and we still have to show you those… Not verbatim, but that was the gist of it.
