Today is the 20th anniversary of the Japanese launch of Star Fox Assault! (North America got the game approx. 10 days earlier.)

I wish Nintendo further iterated on this style of Star Fox. It wasn't perfect, but the foundation was there for a really great sequel.

I think I'll play this some today!
