For fans of Donkey Kong Country-styled games, this is a lovely one. Basically playing as Dixie Kong who uses masks to transform into different forms (akin to Animal Buddies a la DKC). On its own merits, it's well designed and fun!

Today is the 20th anniversary of the Japanese launch of Star Fox Assault! (North America got the game approx. 10 days earlier.) I wish Nintendo further iterated on this style of Star Fox. It wasn't perfect, but the foundation was there for a really great sequel. I think I'll play this some today!
