With that said, I live in a Conservative stronghold (mostly rural) so I will be voting for the local Liberal candidate, because in this neighborhood they are the most likely to give a viable showing.

Yeah, at this point, for this election, I am beyond voting for the party that I believe has the best leader (as you indicate, it is a toss-up between Mike & Marit), but will vote for the candidate in my riding that has the greatest chance of defeating the PC incumbent (Ed Minister Dunlop).
Nice. I live in the lunatic Sarah Jama's riding! So there's no way I'm voting NDP even though she was booted and they have a different candidate. I told them that in a text today because they sent me a text. Satisfying. They failed to vet her. It's a safe NDP riding, downtown Hamilton.
I'm in one I'd the few liberal strongholds and I'm not sure I'd want to reward them with my vote for a second bad choice of leader. They don't even have official party status. I'm leaning NDP (and I happen to like their leader).
Strategic voting never works in my opinion. People try to game the system and the best and only way to do it is to address voter apathy. Education is almost always the solution.
It’s statistically reasonable to expect that a good number of those would not be voting conservative because most conservatives do move their butts to vote, particularly when the opposition is a woman.
What there is time for is going into riding that support the Ford government to point out just how much of their money is being spent on sticking it to Toronto, by ripping out bike lanes, building underground parking for Therme Spa, relocating the Science Centre, building the tunnel under the 401.
Wherever you live in Ontario, you are paying for a MegaSpa in downtown Toronto! Find out how much your riding/city is paying for the Ontario Place MegaSpa and ask your elected rep or Doug Ford why at https://ontarioplaceforall.com/vote! #onpoli #topoli
wake up you maga conservatives, is this fiscal responsibility 2 billion for a spa for the rich, the biggest deficit in generations.destroyed health care, 100 million for the Nazi Musk. come on wake up.
Whats a “megaspa”, and how and why are Ontarians paying for it. Please tell me it’s not a private owned spa financed with public $, especially not that much public $…
Good question. Not only are we paying for it, but Ontario Place is the site they are using and the province has to pay to build underground parking for the spa. https://www.cbc.ca/amp/1.7341585
If I was still in my old riding, I would be voting Liberal too — the only candidate who can beat Calandra. It would have been WAY easier if Nate Erskine Smith was leader.
I live in a very Liberal stronghold so I have the luxury of voting with my conscience. I like both Stiles and Schreiner and thought they did well in the debate. Time to research the local candidates - right now the Green guy seems more organized.
Upfront of Bonnie to ask for the NDP votes, Ford called an election in the deep midwinter knowing it was untimely and to only his advantage. That is the kind of person he is, it won’t even be Mac and Cheese, it will be watery KD. #bowlofsnakes #votevotevote
I, too, live in a Con stronghold. The kind that if they nominated a pumpkin and placed it on top of pole, they would still win. Crombie is not my leader of choice, but the Liberal candidate here is the most capable.
