Sargent's my favorite No. 9 in the pool, and if I had to bet on any of them to be the starter next summer, it's him. But he's got to bring this with him to the USMNT at some point or the door is going to close.

Hopefully March is the time.

He does so much more than just score at the position. His G+A/90 this year stands out. Also the pressure he puts on teams trying to build out of the back. He may not have scored in 22 WC but he made a difference in those games before he got injured. If he stays healthy he is best option IMO.

FWIW, Adams has been developing a better sense on progressive passes after regaining possession. (Musah too but for a more recent period, and obviously down the depth chart.) So assuming health, we might have a better engine to feed Balo.
