I saw a cyber truck for the first time in real life today. I cannot emphasize how much it evokes a dumpster on wheels. I thought pictures would prepare me. They did not

It was like a rusty old-timey safe with a string of LED lights on the front. I’ve never seen something that screams “this is not a vehicle” so loudly and yet is trying to a vehicle in my life
Photos can not communicate how obnoxiously big they are in person. Seeing one brightens my day every time by giving me something to point and life at without feeling bad at all
Haha indeed. Also, the one in the photo was driven by a white boomer woamb. And given that it's Kansas, owning any EV probably makes her absurdly progressive lol 🤦♂️
There is one in my area. Prior to it showing up, I can't remember catching eye contact and sharing laughter with people in other cars. It's happened multiple times now.
It might revolutionize the experience of driving if only by bonding every person who doesn’t drive one and accidentally improving driving conduct. We know we’re all in this* together
"The changing tide started back in the mid 20s, when a single vehicle got people en masse to say 'Maybe this car thing is a no go and we should do trains and buses'"
There’s one in my neighborhood and it looks too wide for the road, like unwieldy. I can’t imagine it would be easy to drive, especially around here with older and narrower roads!
I’m so sorry. Where I live, I see one nearly anytime I go out. 🙄 100% agree they’re awful & the pics don’t do them justice. There’s a reason seeing one is called getting “Cyberf*cked”
I live in an area where there are quite a few. They apparently have horrible blind spots and bad brakes, so I always give them a wide berth.
On the plus side- they break down so frequently they will probably go out of fashion soon.
Billionaires shouldn’t exist for lots of reasons but today it’s because no one should have enough power to make that and not have someone shut it down for being absolutely ridiculous first. It gives me the deepest feelings of cringe
literally turned into the crosswalk I was crossing, inch away from my face, didnt slow down, no turn signal, no apologies. Bright day, not a blind turn.

It's not.
I swear it's modeled off of Elon's actual body.

#MAGATrucks DO look butt uglier than they do in pictures, and they look really ugly in the pictures.
Wow, what did you eat for dinner last night?
