We have the dirtiest grid so the longest way to go, but it’s happening. Solar and wind is just cheaper than O&G. Ideology only lasts so long when it doesn’t make financial sense

Other things of note: O&G companies are using solar to power their refineries but they’re behind the grid so they don’t count towards that capacity. And many are switching to pipeline chemicals that reduce emissions because, again, they’re cheaper

Agreed. It’s not the shift to clean energy that’s in doubt, it’s only the US’ relevance to the next stage of global economy that’s being wiped out
